The Filling Station Pub and Grille - A landmark in Lafayette, The Filling Station is on the corner of Jefferson St. and Lee Ave. in downtown Lafayette. It's popular patio makes dining most pleasurable and entertaining. They have a wide variety of cuisine and specialize in Mexican cuisine. My favorites are the "Shrimp or Crawfish Stuffed Avocodos" and the Seafood Burrito. Cest bon! A lovely way to spend time outdoors and a great happy hour, too. Live bands on Friday nights.

Whiskey River- Now open after complete remodeling, Come on out to Whiskey River Landing, on Levee Rd. in Henderson, La., where you are guaranteed to have one of the best times that you'll ever have. Great Cajun and Zydeco bands and the best dancers, anywhere.
